Bayer Young Science Ambassadors (Genç Bilim Elçileri) (BGBE) Science Seeds (Bilim Tohumları) Team have brough together a total of 6 thousand children with science as a result of visiting 20 cities and 60 rural areas in 6 months.
The Bayer Young Science Ambassadors (Genç Bilim Elçileri) (BGBE) Science Seeds (Bilim Tohumları) Team Project – launched by Bayer in collaboration with Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfı (Community Volunteers Foundation) (TOG) in May on the occasion of Bayer’s 60th Anniversary in Turkey – visited 20 cities and 60 rural areas between May and October 2014 and have brough together 6 thousand children with science. BGBE Science Seeds Team is consisted of only volunteers and it has started to Turkey Tour in May by a specially designed vehicle for the project and finalized the tour in Istanbul after visiting to Mersin, Adana, Hatay, Adiyaman, Sanliurfa, Mardin, Diyarbakir, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya, Trabzon, Rize, Tokat, Samsun, Balıkesir, Manisa, Izmir, Çanakkale, Bursa, Edirne. The Science Seeds Team makes experiments with 10-12 years old children who live in rural areas in order to popularize science among the children. The Team will continue the activities in 2015 visiting 20 diffferent provinces and 40 locations in accordance with the demands, requests and motivation observed in the children and youngsters.
