Amgen, one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies, has launched a young talent program for new graduates in Türkiye. Setting off with the motto of “The Generation of Believers in Science and Imagination”, Amgeneration promises new graduates a free, enjoyable and development-filled career program that is not limited by the label of the next generation. Details of the program, which also includes rotation, global interaction and social responsibility projects, will be on Amgen Türkiye and Gensenta social media accounts very soon.
Amgen, a biotechnology company that has been discovering and developing new treatments since 1980 and offering them to the service of medicine, with over 20 thousand employees in more than 100 countries, offers important opportunities for young talents in the Turkish market, where it has been present since 2012. The young talent program called Amgeneration includes programs both at Amgen and at Gensenta, the generic drug manufacturer under the same roof and one of the first biosimilar manufacturers in Türkiye. Amgeneration, which consists of a total of five different programs, has career paths for young people of different interests, academic backgrounds and competencies. These programs, named Trainee, Science Services, Enabling Functions, Technical Operations, and Commercial, are reserved for those who want to step into the pharmaceutical world in accordance with their areas of expertise.
An experience that evaluates young people by their talents, not their labels
Stating that they listened to the voices of both the internal employees and the talents from the outside world while designing Amgeneration, Filiz Kozcağız, Human Resources Director at Amgen Türkiye and Gensenta said, “Our aim was to design an experience beyond just a recruitment program, that distinguishes itself from its peers and that evaluates young people with their talents, not their labels. That’s why, listening to many different experiences, we created a program in which rotation, global interaction and, more importantly, social responsibility projects will be implemented at the same time while working. Because in Amgen culture, the sensitivity of individuals to social contribution is as important as their competencies. We wanted to reveal that here as well.”

Emphasizing that Amgeneration is more than just a brand, Güldem Berkman, General Manager, Amgen Türkiye and Gensenta, said, “Of course, we respect the definitions of generation and what these definitions associate.
