Contributing to public health and the health sector in Turkey for 36 years, with 100% domestic capital, Polifarma hosted the Umut Cafe, which was brought to life by the Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer (KAÇUV) at its headquarters. Polifarma İlaç supported KAÇUV by offering cookies and coffee to its employees at Umut Cafe.
Umut Cafe, which was born with the transformation of a transit vehicle into a mobile cafe as a hope-giving social responsibility project of KAÇUV, provides financial support by offering job opportunities to families who had to come from outside the city for the treatment of their children who are undergoing cancer treatment, and therefore lost their current job. In the Umut Cafe, besides beverages such as tea and coffee, mothers’ handicraft snacks are offered. Umut Cafe provides families with the opportunity to earn additional income, providing moral support as well as economic support.
