Orzaks Pharmaceuticals inaugurated the Yellow Support Play Area in Sarıyer on November 2, World Vitamin D Day, to raise awareness about vitamin D deficiency. This initiative aims to provide a safe play area for children while highlighting the importance of social responsibility projects in enhancing public awareness. Orzaks Pharmaceuticals continues its efforts to combat vitamin D deficiency in Turkey, having previously organized activities in Kahramanmaraş that included face painting and magic shows for children, as well as seminars for families on the effects of vitamin D on child health.
With the opening of the renovated Yellow Support Play Area this year, Orzaks Pharmaceuticals aims to offer children a healthy and safe space to play. Additionally, donations were made to the Istanbul Child Protection Association to support children undergoing treatment. Müge Turan, Marketing Director of Orzaks Pharmaceuticals, emphasized the significance of this project by stating, “We have created a space where our children can enjoy themselves while also highlighting the importance of sunlight exposure.” Turan noted that social responsibility projects serve to raise public awareness and provide concrete solutions to health issues. She further emphasized that vitamin D deficiency poses a significant risk to a healthy society and assured that they would continue their efforts to raise awareness in the community.
