The 47th International Beekeeping Congress Apimondia, sponsored by Balparmak Platinum, started with a ceremony held on 24 August. Argentine honey producers and academics visited the Balparmak R&D Center during the technical tour organized within the scope of Apimondia on August 23.

The world’s largest beekeeping congress, Apimondia, which took place at the Istanbul Congress Center between 24-28 August this year, started with the Platinum sponsorship of Balparmak. The first day of Apimondia, which hosted participants from 103 countries, was met with great interest.

Balparmak Chairman of the Board Özen Altıparmak, who spoke at the opening ceremony with the participation of many ministers from different countries, especially from Turkey, said that they are proud to be the platinum sponsor of Apimondia for the second time. “This geography, which is the most important producer of pine honey in the world, formed the basis of our company’s 42-year journey in honey and bee products”. He underlined that for 42 years, they have made it their duty to naturally deliver the natural honey from the hive to the table. Altınparmak continued his words as follows: “We are in contact with nearly 10,000 beekeepers in our country, which is one of the first in the world beekeeping industry. In our R&D center, we develop innovative and new products, innovative analysis methods, share our scientific studies with the whole world at congresses and symposiums, and publish them in internationally recognized scientific sources.
