Amgen Türkiye is celebrating the 5th anniversary of the IamGenius Biotechnological Ideas Competition, an initiative designed to reward university and high school students for their innovative ideas in biotechnology. Applications for the competition opened on March 3 and will remain open until March 24. This year, participation is limited to university students only.

The theme for this year’s IamGenius competition has been set as “Hope-Inspiring Ideas for Cancer Patients.” Amgen Türkiye, which recognizes and rewards young people’s scientific thinking and innovative projects, will offer career opportunities such as internships, project collaborations, and educational seminars to the top-ranking students. At the end of the competition, the five finalist ideas will be announced on May 13, and the winning projects will be revealed during the award ceremony on May 27.

Güldem Berkman, General Manager of Amgen Türkiye, emphasized that the IamGenius competition continues to nurture young people’s scientific passion and expressed confidence that this year’s competition will generate ideas that bring hope to cancer patients.
